How To Create A Sales Funnel In Messenger With ChatAmmo

It seems as though where ever you look there are sales funnels, however, are they the best bang for your buck when it comes to marketing?

In this post, I would like to take you through some of the features that can be used with chatbots to make a wildly successful sales funnel, where building your email, messenger and SMS list will happen on autopilot, with no need to create opt-in forms.

Now before I go on I am certainly not saying that you should abandon your sales funnel, or your email collection, what I am saying is that by combining what you are about to read with your sales funnel you can multiply your success.

Sales Funnels To Increase Your Sales

 A lot of people have been hoodwinked into believing that a sales funnel is some mystical thing that once you get your client to it, sales will be made, the sun will shine and everything will be great.

But that isn't exactly true, if you aren't doing your marketing correctly then it doesn't matter how great your sales funnel is, 95% of people will not buy the first time they see your offer.

And if you have tried adding an opt-in form then what you will often find is that emails and names aren't correct but rather something that your viewers added so they can get your freebie.

But quite enough of the doom and gloom, I am going to show you a way that chatammo can solve your sales funnel headaches and at a much better price.

What Is A Sales Funnel?

Put simply a sales funnel is a website that only has one purpose and that is to lead your prospect down a path that will end at your desired outcome

There are different steps to a sales funnel, commonly known as the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel, even though these steps may vary depending on a business's sales model. A typical sales funnel has 4 stages:

  1. Awareness
  2. Interest
  3. Decision
  4. Action

And all four of these steps are your prospect's mindset. 

When a prospect is moved through your funnel, it is the funnel's job to build awareness of the problems your product or service can fix, and help them to make a buying decision.

Now when a prospect becomes a sale then they are added to your 'buyers email list' and hopefully, you can sell them more things that are along the same lines as what they have already purchased.

The most difficult part of getting a sales funnel to work has always been collecting emails and hoping that people will come back to your sales funnel, and it was always accepted that you would have to spend more money by way of your pixel to convince the prospects to come back and this time buy, your offer.

Using A Chatbot As Your Sales Funnel

By using a chatbot as your sales funnel you are avoiding quite a few pitfalls that a traditional sales funnel can have. 

Firstly as soon as the prospect clicks any button inside of your chatbot they are in your messenger list.

Delivery of the lead magnet is also taken care of, and Facebook will kindly supply the email address that they signed up to Facebook with, which means they don't even have to type their email in unless they have a better one that they use more.

Added to that you never have to go looking for your customer again, but instead ask questions that will bring them to the perfect solution, your product or service. 

If they don't buy the first time it isn't a problem as you now have them on both your email list and your messenger list (with around an 80% open rate).

So to give something as an exchange for their email you will need to create a lead magnet. A lead magnet could be almost anything that your prospect would deem as valuable.

I always think that a lead magnet should be something which you would happily pay for, but you give it away for free.

By doing this via your chatbot, you now don't have prospects, but instead, you have leads.

When you click on Actions under the Bot setting, the Bot Settings interface will appear. Select your Facebook Page and then go to Sequence Message Setting and click on Change settings, a drop-down menu will appear with Messenger sequence settings and Sms/email sequence settings. Click on Sms/email sequence settings to create an Sms/email sequence.

In the same window, on the right side, the Sms/email sequence interface will appear. Click on the Add sequence button.

Give the sequence a name under the campaign, then select the type of sequence, email, or SMS, then select the sequence time. Here you can create two types 24 hours or daily

You can also change the starting and closing time. Select your time zone. Then select the email template from the dropdown list for days you want to send an email. You can add a new template and add more days to the campaign.

When the person has signed up and given their email, then send an email with whatever it was that you promised them. Ask them also within your chatbot to whitelist your email address.

From here you can go to your normal email autoresponder sequences and begin to get them firing so that you are contacting people via email, and messenger. I wanted you could even replace or add the SMS

You can also create a Messenger sequence, but Facebook Messenger allows you to send a promotional message only within 24 Hours of the subscription.
